Financial Coaching in 2023

As I considered transitioning from my professional retail banking management role to financial coaching for small businesses and working-class Americans, I noticed a significant phenomenon. Despite achieving high sales results and top performance ratings, I realized that these metrics did not necessarily equate to true success for my clients in the business and working-class communities. For example, closing a loan for debt consolidation to save a client money did not guarantee financial fitness or long-term success. In fact, I found that debt consolidation often led to increased access to credit, which in turn led to more accumulated debt over time.

I also knew that moving into more specialized roles would compromise my ability to work with Americans suffering from real life financial problems. Therefore, I made my final decision to truly make an impact with my Business and Working Class American clients.
